    The Executive Committee of True Blue Conservatives

    The conservative as conservator guards against violations of our reverent traditions and legacy and is a preserver, keeper and custodian of inviolable conventions and institutions. As True Blue Conservatives we believe much remains to be conserved and to be renewed; and that they are worth fighting for.

    Robert Woollard is married to Christine. They have two sons and a daughter, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Robert and Christine live in South Oxfordshire near to Dorchester-on-Thames the home of Dorchester Abbey, which stands on the site of a 7th century Saxon Cathedral. Robert was active in local Buckinghamshire politics as an elected Councillor until 2013 and before that running his own businesses over a span of 30 years. He has been a member of the Conservative Party since the 1960’s. Robert and Christine are committed Christians and are fervent supporters of Israel.

    John joined the Conservative Party as a member in 1967 when he was a student in central London with Quintin Hogg (later Lord Hailsham) as his MP. He studied law and theology and has both an LL.B. (Hons.) and B.D (Hons.) from the University of London.

    Upon graduation he intended to work in the U.K. but his career took him abroad and then to his home island, Guernsey, where he started a new law practice as a solo practitioner, which he merged soon afterwards with another firm.

    Dr Martin Parsons

    Dr Martin Parsons is an author, charity founder and expert on the global persecution of Christians and radical Islam.

    He is founder and CEO of the Lindisfarne Centre for the Study of Christian Persecution and also works as an independent consultant and expert witness on Christianity, freedom of religion or belief and radical Islam. He has been quoted on multiple occasions in both the print and broadcast media on radical Islam and the global persecution of Christians, including interviews on both the BBC and US TV network CBN News.

    John Strafford is married to Caroline and they have three sons. John and Caroline live in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.   He has been a member of the Conservative Party since 1964.

    Canon Dr Chris Sugden

    Retired Anglican priest. (Member of the Synod of the Church of England)

    Canon Dr Chris Sugden is a retired Anglican priest. He is married to Elaine who is a retired Hospital Consultant in Cancer and co-author of Talking about Dying (Dictum Press). They have three married children and nine grandchildren. Chris has experience of ministry in India and Africa and is a canon in the Anglican churches of Nigeria and Ghana. He is chairman of Anglican Mainstream. He leads the Ph.D programme of the Oxford Centre for Religion and Public Life.
